ATEX cable glands and accessories

The cable gland brings the cable into the enclosure without weakening its type of protection. We offer a full range for armoured and unarmoured cables, with or without compound barrier, for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22.

How to choose an ATEX cable gland

  1. The zone and the type of protection of the enclosure: an Ex d cable gland for an Ex d enclosure, Ex e or Ex d/Ex e depending on the case.
  2. The cable: armoured or unarmoured, armour type, outer diameter and diameter under the armour.
  3. Whether a compound barrier is required: in particular when the Ex d enclosure contains a source of ignition, or depending on the cable type.
  4. The material: nickel-plated brass as standard, 316L stainless steel for corrosive environments.
  5. The thread: metric, NPT or other, depending on the enclosure.
