Ex e increased safety ATEX enclosures
Our Ex e increased safety ATEX enclosures use additional construction measures to prevent excessive temperatures, arcs and sparks. In graphite-loaded polyester (BAS-P), aluminium alloy (BAS-A) or 316L stainless steel (BAS-I), more than 75 sizes are certified LCIE 11 ATEX 3062X for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. BASR-I enclosureEx eb ia/ibIICZones 1, 2, 21, 22View productDefinition: type of protection in which additional measures provide increased safety against excessive temperatures and arcs or sparks, inside and on the external parts of electrical equipment that does not produce them in normal service. The enclosure must provide at least IP54 for an enclosure containing bare live parts (IP44 if parts are insulated), and 7 J impact resistance for high mechanical risk (4 J for low risk).
Applications: junction boxes, control stations fitted with ATEX components, motors, luminaires.
BAS-P, BAS-A and BAS-I enclosures are certified LCIE 11 ATEX 3062X for zones 1, 2, 21 and 22. The BASR range (BASR-P, BASR-A, BASR-I) is certified TUV 20 ATEX 8601 / IECEx TUR 20.0101 (Ex eb ia/ib).
